CC-800 leave it be?

I received a CC-800 a while ago. I had a lost card and was moving the transactions from the old number to the new one. So that all current transactions are in one place. Then I received a notice saying I couldn't do that. Online, it shows a lot of problems that I'm not having, but others have. What impact will it make if I don't make a change?

1. When I deal with a lost card, I normally keep all the transactions for both old and new cards in the same/old register account. Once I have the new card activated and can access its transactions, I update the online interface to use the new card.
2. I'm assuming from your question that you now have two register accounts, old card with a balance, and new card with a starting balance. Hopefully they're the same amount. If you're not having problems with your activities now, I'd generate a transaction in the old account payee = "lost the card", category = transfer to new card, amount paid = that balance. That should put a transaction in the new account same payee, category = transfer from the new card, amount received = that balance. Assuming that doubles your starting balance, zero the starting balance record. In a month or so close the old account and hide it from your accounts bar (but not Separate so the transactions continue to show in your reports).
