On a Windows machine running Windows 10. The error says that the bank is saying my credentials are incorrect. But I can use them to sign in to the bank website.

Hi @dwalker764,
Thank you for reaching out.
Could you please let me know the names of the Synchrony credit cards you're trying to connect, along with the website you use to access each account? Also, are you connecting these accounts to Quicken for the first time, or are you reconnecting accounts that were previously connected?
Additionally, I wanted to let you know that we're aware of an issue affecting some Synchrony accounts. Users connecting certain Synchrony credit cards, including Amazon and Google cards, may encounter the FDP-103/CC-503 error.

I look forward to your response.
I’m just checking in. We haven't heard back from you in a while.
Do you still need assistance?
Thank you!
Hello Quicken Laura,
I'm running Quicken Classic Premier, Version 68.38 on a new Windows 11 Pro system. For several weeks, when attempting to connect online access in Quicken with Synchrony Amazon & TJX credit cards, we continually receive error message CC501, indicating "Oops, an error has occurred".
The username and password have been entered correctly, (after selecting Amazon by Synchrony Bank), each time, the error continues. If we try to connect with Amazon/Synchrony too often within one day, we receive the CC929 error indicating a security lockout is in effect. The CC929 error was cleared with the assistance of Quicken Support this week, however, we remain unable to connect Quicken to Amazon or TJX credit.
Quicken Support confirmed the issue is still unresolved and has been escalated internally, but no ETA is available. We've tried every troubleshooting step (from Deactivating and Setup-up now, to Deleting the account and re-adding it, logging off Quicken & logging back in) but we continue to receive the CC501 error. From what I can see, the issue may possibly relate to Synchrony now utilizing a Synchrony Account Manager, where their webpage displays both the Amazon and TJX credit accounts. Also, Quicken seems to be pointing to the URL www.syncbank.com, but when we login to Synchrony (independent of Quicken), that is not the URL shown.
After several helpful calls with the Support Team, unfortunately we are at a standstill with this issue. Please continue to keep this open and escalated!
Thanks
JT
Hello - I just posted a detailed message indicating this issue remains unresolved, however after it was posted it disappeared??
Hi @JATPWC2026,
Thank you for joining this thread and outlining the troubleshooting steps you've already taken.
I reviewed your account and can confirm that it is currently showing a CC-503 error. As you mentioned, this issue has already been escalated and is being investigated by our team. In the meantime, you can bookmark the following Community Alert to stay up to date on its progress:
However, you also mentioned your TJX account. At this time, I only see connection attempts and the CC-503 error for the Amazon.com Store Card - Synchrony. I don't see any recent attempts to connect the TJX account or any related error messages. If you haven't already, please try connecting the TJX account using its specific financial institution listing so we can determine whether it is experiencing the same issue.
Please follow these steps to reactivate the account:
Reactivate account:
3. If prompted, choose the appropriate connection method. 4. Follow the on-screen instructions. 5. When the list of found accounts appears, be sure to select Link to connect them to your existing accounts (do not add duplicates).
Please let me know how it goes.
I see your previous, more detailed post describing the issue that I responded to. If you don't see it, please click the + icon beneath my message to expand and view the nested replies.
Please let me know if you have additional questions.
Thank you Laura!!
You're welcome.
Hi Laura - ok this is interesting, I followed your steps to add TJX to Quicken, when I selected TJX Rewards Credit Card, I input my TJX username and password and Quicken returned with a screen enabling the addition of TJX and Amazon!! Once both were added, I promptly ran the OSU and both accounts synced with Quicken. This has occurred in our troubleshooting where both accounts, Amazon & TJX connected, however, after a few days OSU stopped pulling in Amazon or TJX. Please see screenshot above showing the completion of the OSU with Amazon and TJX. Thanks for your prompt replies!
