I am running Quicken Classic Business & Personal for Windows:
- Version: R68.28 (Build 27.1.68.28)
- Operating System: Windows 11 Home
Since updating to R68.28, Quicken crashes every time I run One Step Update.
The error displayed is:
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error!
R6025 – Pure Virtual Function Call
Immediately afterward, Quicken displays the BugSplat crash reporter.
I have already completed the following troubleshooting:
- Restarted Windows
- Ran Validate (no errors found)
- Ran Super Validate (no errors found)
- Disabled Mobile & Web Sync
- Tried again after restarting Quicken
The problem is 100% reproducible.
Quicken otherwise appears to function normally. The crash only occurs when running One Step Update.
Questions:
- Has anyone else experienced this after updating to R68.28?
- Is Quicken aware of this issue?
- Is there a recommended workaround, or should affected users wait for a maintenance release?
Thank you.
