PayPal Mastercard STILL not updating transactions

Hello,

My PayPal Mastercard has NOT been updating at least since early April 2026. I've done some workarounds and unlinked the account and then relinked it as a new account, but that has stopped working. Just when I thought it was syncing properly back in early June, here we go again…..the last download I get is 6/17/26.

I'm on a Mac, and when I try to either update the account or set it up as a new card, I do NOT get any error codes. It just shows that there is a different balance (like there are new transactions to download available), but it does not update in the account.

Please help with this!! And yes, I have read ALL of the other community posts on this since April and did all of the recommended troubleshooting…nothing works!

Thank you for outlining the troubleshooting steps you've already tried; that's very helpful.

I checked your account on our end and noticed that two PayPal accounts are connected. Are these two separate PayPal accounts, or is one a duplicate of the other?

In the meantime, let's rule out any filter or sorting issues by following the steps below:

1. In the affected account, click the Settings icon in the bottom right corner of the screen. Go to the Downloads tab and, under Transaction Downloads, confirm Download all available transactions is enabled.

2. Refresh your online account information by clicking on the Update Icon, located on the upper left-hand side of Quicken. Follow any on-screen instructions to complete the account update.

3. Confirm that the Sort Order in your account is by Date; just click the top of the Date column in your account register. It's possible the transactions are in your register, but not where you thought they'd be.

4. Click the Clear Filters button to the right of the account register’s filter dropdowns. This will confirm that there is no filtering in your account register.

5. Click Columns in the bottom right of the register, then check the Statement Payee box. This will allow you to search for the downloaded Payee name to confirm that a transaction was not renamed unexpectedly.

6. Go to Accounts > Hide and Show Accounts…. You can confirm if missing transactions have been downloaded into a hidden account by unchecking the Hide In Lists box next to the account that is marked as hidden.

Please let me know the results, including whether the two PayPal accounts are separate accounts or duplicates. I'll be happy to continue helping you troubleshoot from there.
