I have Quicken Classic for Business and Personal running under Win 11 Pro. I have two data files - one for personal stuff and one for our Boy Scout Troop stuff. The Personal data file has 36 years of data in it. The Boy Scout data file has about 6 years of data in it.
When I open Quicken and start with the Boy Scout file, everything is fine. When I start with
the Personal file, Q opens but does not display the default account (credit card) and the management choices (File, Edit, View, etc.) only shows File and Edit, and they are truncated choice. The register area is blank until I click on the Credit Card heading in the Accounts list. Then it populates the Register area of the screen.
If I open the Boy Scout data file first, then open the Personal data file, it opens properly as expected. I have tried Validating and Repairing the file, but neither clear the problem.
See the attached screen shot of the Personal data file opening, missing the register data and the limited management tabs at top.
Thanks for the help.
