How do I print all columns in Check Register

Using Windows Quicken Classic Business and Personal, V R.68.28

On my desktop screen I show separate columns for date, check number, payee, memo, category, payment, deposit, and balance - fine, that's what I want. But when I try to print in landscape, Quicken combines the payment and deposit columns, instead of printing them as separate columns. This makes it difficult to read. I have tried printer set up, but it gives me no choices to print as separate columns. I believe prior versions of Quicken used to allow me to do that. How can I fix that?

This is actually a limitation of many versions of Quicken rather than a printer setting.

The register on the screen and the printed register are not always the same. When printing a register, Quicken often combines the Payment and Deposit columns into a single "Amount" column, even though they appear as separate columns on your screen. Unfortunately, there is usually no option in Printer Setup or Print Setup to force separate Payment and Deposit columns.

Give this a try

1. Print the Register (not a Transaction Report).
   • Select the account.
   • Choose File > Print > Register (or the register's Print icon, depending on your version).
   • See if there is an option labeled One-line vs. Two-line format. Some versions provide additional formatting options, but most still combine the amount column.

I had to use the Print icon as my Quicken Deluxe Version R68.28 with Build 27.1.68.28 didn't have the option to File>Print>Register. Attached is a copy of the register I printed that shows seperate Payment and Deposit columns
