One Step Update Freezes - only way out is CTR-ALT-DEL

I've had this problem since the latest update. I know the latest OSU issue is reportedly resolved, but it's 7/20 at 7:00 ET, and I'm still dead in the water. My only OSU update items are with Schwab and Quotes. I've done many of the recommended actions, and it still locks up. The validation process finds no errors on accounts that are subject to OSU. I have Version 68.31 Build 27.1.68.31.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

If you haven't done so already, I recommend following the troubleshooting steps outlined in our Support Article.

Find and deactivate the affected account

From the Account List, select the first connected account.
Click the Actions (gear) icon in the upper right of the transaction window.
Choose Update now.
Repeat the process for each connected account until you find the one freezing during the update.
Deactivate and reactivate the affected connected account.
Attempt the One Step Update again.

Disable Mobile & Web Sync

From the Edit menu, choose Preferences....
Click Mobile & Web from the left-hand menu.
Click the Sync toggle so it reads OFF.
Attempt the One Step Update again.

Turn off pending transactions

From the Edit menu, choose Preferences....
Choose Pending transactions from the left-hand menu.
Click the Pending transaction toggle so it reads OFF.
Attempt the One Step Update again.

Refresh the Online Connected Services token

Signing out and back into your data file refreshes the registration token for your Online Connected Services, which may help resolve performance issues with the One Step Update.

I suggest saving a backup data file prior to performing these steps.

From the Edit menu, choose Preferences....
Choose Quicken ID & Cloud Accounts from the left-hand menu.
Click the blue Sign in as a different user link in the Quicken profile section.
Follow the on-screen prompts to sign out.

Sign back into Quicken using your Quicken ID (email) and password.
Attempt the One Step Update again.

I followed all of the steps you've listed and then some. Teh only accounts I have set up for OSU is my Schwab accounts. Reauthorizing my Schwab accounts fixes the problem for one update and one update only. When I attempt subsequent OSUs, the program seems to freeze at the Updating/Checking for Quotes step. It never gets to my Schwab Accounts. When I sign out and back in then activate OSU, I can select Schwab Accounts only it will connect, update, the hang on exiting OSU. If I select Update Only, it hands immediately and goes nowhere. I feel this is a software problem because this behavior started with the last software update. It is very frustrating, please fix this.

Since the workaround only appears to resolve the issue temporarily, the next step is to have this issue escalated. I recommend contacting Quicken Support for further assistance. They can perform additional troubleshooting in real time and, if necessary, escalate the issue for further investigation.
