It would be nice to check a box when printing out the register or a report that would print say, a 3 inch attachment i.e. a receipt for each transaction. Yes it would eat up paper and make a pdf bigger, but printing a single attachment is handled by the windows printing program and to a whole sheet of paper and is tedious and a waste of time. If you are audited, I think it best to have a report with receipts, pictured, rather that having the auditor in the quicken program or my being made to sort out the shoe box with hundreds of receipts.
The image is embedded in the QDF and provided to the Quicken cell phone app, so why not to the printer? Seems for a lot of reasons one should be able to select a date range and then choose whether to include a receipt. Why put in attachments if they have to be viewed in the windows program one at a time. The pics are already indexed to their transaction. So place them on a printed report and make that optional.
Note: Quicken is still in competition with its creator, Intuit. Quicken was the consumer light version of Quick Books. This "new" company has done great things.
