Quicken Classic for Mac & Apple M5 Compatibility?

I'm planning to replace my older MacBook Pro with a new MacBook Pro or MacBook Air that has Apple's latest M5 chip. I'll be migrating my Quicken Classic for Mac data to the new machine.

Quicken setup:

-Quicken Classic for Mac 9.0.3 (Build 900.60651.100)

-macOS 26.5.2

Has anyone made this transition yet?

I'm mainly interested in knowing:

Any compatibility issues with the M5 chip?
Any problems transferring the Quicken data file to the new Mac?
Any tips or best practices before I migrate?

No compatibility issues on my M5 Air.

If you’re using migration assistant to move things over it should go fine. If you’re doing it manually I’d recommend compressing the data file before moving it.

Great @Jon for the reply. And you mean Apple's "migration" assistant - right? Just not sure if there's a similar from Quicken.

Yes, I meant Apple’s migration assistant, Quicken doesn’t have anything like that.
