Register shows only 7 days even after changing filter

Question

My checking register (Quicken Classic) started reverting to showing only 7 days of entries. Adjusting the filters lasts for one scroll through and then reverts to the 7 days of the current week. I'm hoping this is an easy fix but, I'll tell you,  it is not the filters at the top of the register. I have reopened a saved June file hoping to rebuild from that point but it has the same problem even though it wasn't exhibiting the problem in June. Please help! It's driving me crazy!

Thank you for sharing what you're experiencing and for outlining the troubleshooting steps you've already tried.

Based on our support article, here are a few additional things you can check:

* Was the transaction moved to a different account register?

Click All Transactions in the Account Bar and search for the missing transaction. If you find it in the wrong account, you can move it by selecting the transaction(s), right-clicking, and choosing Move Transaction(s). Then select the correct account and click OK.

* Is the transaction in a hidden account?

Go to Tools > Account List and check Show Hidden Accounts in the lower-left corner. If any accounts are marked as hidden, open them and see if the missing transaction appears there.

* Are you using the correct Quicken data file?
If you have multiple Quicken data files on your computer, it's possible a different file was opened by mistake. Go to File and review the list of recently opened files at the bottom of the menu. Try opening each one to see if your missing transaction is there.

I should mention this happened around July 1, 2026 after Quicken updated.
