When entering downloaded transactions, "Memorized Payee"'s Category is not auto filled.

Long time user here.  This behavior has been happening for some time now and I don't understand why.

When entering downloaded transactions, "Memorized Payee"'s Category is not auto filled.   This happens often, but it is most easily observed when I get quarterly interest on several savings accounts.   The "Payee" downloads as "INTEREST CREDIT", but I always prefer to name the payee as the bank's name.   Here's an example today.

Here is the downloaded transaction before accepting it:

Here is me entering the the memorized pay, where you'll notice the category is "Interest Inc", just like I want it.

But, once I hit Enter, it creates the transaction with the downloaded amount, but no Category

So, I have to manually type "Interest", and select "Interest Inc".

Thank you. This solved my issue as well. I sure wish Quicken would notify us that this might be a bug.

A Quicken software update a few months ago may have erroneously altered a few preference settings.

Look in Edit / Preferences / Data Entry & Quickfill. Are the 2nd and 3rd options from the top enabled (checkmarked)?

If not, please do so and see if that solves your category problem for new transactions.
