Unable to Connect Discover Card After Transition to Capital One [Edited]

I recently got a new card from Discover, and Discover also transitioned to Capital One. I am trying to re-establish the ability to download my transactions from my Discover card to Quicken. When I go through the steps for making that connection, Quicken is trying to have me put my Discover Credentials in, but then tells me I have to go through Capital One, but provides no opportunity to do that.

Some Discover cardholders have been notified that their accounts are being transitioned to Capital One. These customers opened the Discover app and were prompted to convert their accounts to Capital One. Discover accounts are moving to the Capital One website and app; however, the transition is not happening all at once. Some Discover cardholders have already completed the move, while others may not transition until later this year or 2027.

Since you are receiving that message, I suggest trying to connect your account using the Capital One Card Services:

Go to Tools > Add Account.
Choose Capital One.
Try adding the account again.

If you receive an error or are not able to sign in yet, I suggest monitoring the Community Alert for new updates as they become available regarding this transition.

Thank you. An agent at Discover suggested to add an account, but I was hesitant to for fear of losing convenient access to legacy data, but when I added the account per the suggestion here it gave the option to link to an existing account. I did that and all went flawlessly. Thanks again.
