When transactions are downloaded into the Fidelity linked cash account, the Reminders tab disappears. This has been happening for a couple of years now.
[Edited - Readability/Removed partial account numbers]
Hi @leishirsute,
Thank you for sharing what you're experiencing.
To help me better understand the issue, could you please provide the following information?
I look forward to your response. Thank you!
Hi,
Yes. That is how it appears.
I have to accept the downloaded transactions, then restart Quicken and the Reminder tab will reappear.
The brokerage account displays its investment Bills & Reminders tab.
I only have the one linked cash account.
I submitted a new Problem report for this today.
Thank you for answering those questions and for submitting your log files.
Could you also let me know where your data file is located? To check, open Quicken, select File, and look at the bottom of the menu. The file with the check mark next to it is the one currently open. Please share the full file path shown there.
In the meantime, please try validating your data file. This process checks for errors and can resolve issues caused by file corruption.
Once the validation is complete, the validate.txt log file will open in Notepad. Please review it for any unrecoverable transactions or errors that may require manual correction.
Let me know the results, along with the file path and any messages shown in the validate.txt log.
Thank you for confirming that.
Have you already tried reunifying and then separating the cash account again? If not, please save a backup of your data file first, then follow these steps:
Please let me know if this resolves the issue or if you continue to experience the same behavior.
I did that after converting Fidelity to EWC+. But this problem existed years before the conversion. Also, changing from unlinked to linked cash account is very time consuming (at least an hour) with Quicken appearing to hang and sometimes creates transaction errors. I don't want to do that again.
Understood. Could you please test the account behavior in a new test file?
Note: Creating a test file will not affect your existing data file. However, you may want to create a backup before proceeding.
To create a new file:
Once completed, please let me know the results.
Thank you for providing that information.
To help us investigate this issue further, please report the problem through Help and submit your log files. This will allow us to forward the details to the appropriate team for further review.
To send your logs:
Once submitted, please let me know. I look forward to your response!

@leishirsute just wanted to advise you in case you have not run into the issue already, the Help | Report a Problem now apparently by default selects more log files than are allowed for a successful problem report submission. To bypass that issue, unselect any log files with OLD in their name.
@Quicken Laura I can confirm what @leishirsute reported, this issue of the Reminders tab disappearing in linked cash accounts has been occurring for a long time. I see it in my Q2017 and if memory serves, for several year versions before that.
Hi @mshiggins,
Thank you for the information about log files and for confirming you have also experienced this issue. I'll make sure to pass this information along to the proper team.
I’ve sent you a direct message with a few steps to try. Please check your messages in the upper-right corner.
Let me know how it goes or if you have any questions!
