QMac: Wealth Gain overtime vs unrealized gains of existing portfolio

Say inside my brokerage account,

2024: I put $100, and bought security A

2025: market value grew to $150, I sold A. a $50 and 50% gain.

Immediate I used the $150 to buy security B.

Today 2026: the MV is now $200.

Quicken shows: Total gains: $50 (= 200-150 for B), or 33.3% (= 50 / 150)

but in fact my "wealth gain" should be $100 or 100%.

Is there a way to see this wealth gain statistic in Quicken Mac?

You are confusing capital gains with net worth over time. Capital gains are on a per investment cost basis. Net Worth over time (a report - not something that is part of an investment account view) would show the 100%. Of course, you can run a Net Worth over time report restricted to just that investment account and it will show the original $100 and the current $200.

Hi I tried that. but it doesn't really show what I am looking for. because overtime, I've made many contributions (and a couple withdrawals), I see the net worth for this one investment account going from say $100 to $1000 over time, but the table doesn't show much out of that $1000 is my personal net contribution. the "wealth gained" should be $1000 - my net contribution.
