Capital One Bank Updates on Quicken Business & Personal

Capital One Bank update is only updating the checking account, and savings accounts are NOT updating. I tried disconnecting them and re-adding, but Capital One only shows the checking account as able to be added for an update on their authentication page for Quicken, although all accounts are visible on the website. Not sure what to do next…Tried for a couple of days now to add them, but no success.

To better understand what is happening, I have a couple of questions:

When you sign in to the financial institution through Quicken’s authorization process, do the affected savings accounts appear in the list of accounts available to connect, or are they missing entirely?
Are the affected savings accounts showing any recent transactions on the financial institution’s website, such as deposits or expenses, within the last 30 days?
Are there only interest deposits or transfers in these accounts?

The affected accounts are missing entirely on the Quicken authorization page.

The last downloaded transactions on the affected accounts were on 6/30/2026: Monthly Interest Paid.

Yes, there are only Interest deposits on these accounts.

Thanks for answering the questions above. Based on your description, it sounds like the account may be in a dormant status. I recommend reviewing our support article.

Some financial institutions will consider an account dormant if no transactions have posted for an extended period of time. For some financial institutions, interest deposits do not count as activity, and they may flag the account as dormant. When an account is considered dormant, it will not appear during the reauthorization process in Quicken.

I suggest making a small transaction in that account to “revive” it, and it should then be discovered during the reauthorization process. For best results, we recommend making a purchase transaction. The transaction can take a few days to clear and revive the account.

If the issue persists after making a small purchase and the transaction has posted on your financial institution's website, I recommend contacting Quicken Support for further assistance. They can guide you through additional troubleshooting steps in real time or escalate the case if necessary.

Phone support is available Monday through Friday, from 5:00 AM PT to 5:00 PM PT.

If you need an immediate resolution, I suggest contacting the financial institution.

Thanks so much for the assist! Making small deposits to each account did indeed revive the accounts and they showed up on the accounts available to download list from Capital One.
