I've read all the "Quicken freezes" topics and have tried to deactivate and reactivate, but nothing helps.

Hi @gonecraig, Thank you for your post and for sharing the troubleshooting steps you’ve already tried. If you haven’t done so yet, I recommend trying the steps below from our support article, as they may help identify what is causing One Step Update to freeze or take longer than expected. Before following any of the troubleshooting steps below, I suggest creating a backup of your data file.
Sometimes, a specific connected account can affect the One Step Update process for other accounts.
Identify the affected account
Reset Cloud Sync data
Disable Mobile & Web Sync
Turn off Pending Transactions
Refresh the Online Connected Services token
Temporarily disable VPN, firewall, or antivirus software
Validate and Repair the Quicken file
I hope these steps help identify the cause of the issue. If the problem persists, please let us know.
I started with the solutions and got to the sign off and back in as a different user which worked. Yay!
So when can I turn pending transactions back on and sync to mobile and web?
Hi @hahjbh, I’m glad to hear that the steps above helped, especially signing out and signing back in.
If you use Pending Transactions and Sync to Mobile and Web, you can turn both features back on. However, if you don’t use one of these features, I recommend keeping it turned off.
After turning them back on, I suggest monitoring how Quicken performs and letting us know if you encounter the same issue again.
We’re happy to help!
