Downloaded transaction date

Question

Tried searching for an answer but I guess I don't phrase it correctly so…..

I enter my transactions manually as they occur but then as part of my daily routine they are downloaded into the register. All of that works fine but the transaction date in the register is changed to the date downloaded. I want the date entered to remain as I entered it, is there a setting for that?

@Wabos42 the setting that controls this is at Edit→Preferences→Downloaded transactions→Use the date from your financial institution….

Verify that the option is unchecked.
