Can't delete "Bills"

In "Bills and Income" there are on occasion bills that have been classified as monthly bill. I click the drop-down toggle to "delete this and all future events" but they are till there the next month. When I go online to Quicken web and try to delete them there by clicking om "Edit series" it only allows me to delete the next bill instead of the series.

When I do my update in Quicken, they still download into my ills and Income. Anyone having the same issue and was anyone able to solve it?

Thank you for the additional information. If you select “Delete this instance and all future instances” in Quicken for Windows but the recurring bill still appears, I recommend backing up your data file first, then validating and repairing the Quicken file.

To validate the file

• From the menu bar, go to File > Validate and Repair File.
• In the Validate and Repair window, confirm that the correct file is selected.
• Select Validate file.
• Leave all other options unchecked. Do not select Rebuild investing lots or Copy file.
• Click OK to begin the validation.

• Once the process is complete, Quicken will open a log file named DATA_LOG.TXT.

After validating the file, try deleting the recurring payment again and then run a One Step Update.

To delete the recurring bill:

• Select the Bills & Income tab.
• Choose the Bills, Income & Transfers, or Projected Balances view.
• In the reminder list, select the arrow next to Enter for the bill you want to delete.
• Select Delete this instance and all future instances.
• Select OK to confirm.

If the issue persists, I’d like to ask a few additional questions:

• Does the bill still appear in Bills & Income immediately after deleting the series, before running One Step Update?
• Is this happening with one specific bill, or are multiple recurring bills affected?
• Did you find any errors in the validation log?
