Adding Future Payment Increases to Scheduled Bill Reminder (Q Mac)

I received a notice that the insurance policy premium will increase on October 1.

Since it is August now, I need to keep the existing payment amount in the Schedule Bill Reminder for September 1.

How do I enter the new premium in the Schedule Bill Reminder to take effect on October 1?

If you go to the register that contains the(se) transaction(s), you will see a tiny clock icon in the upper right corner. Click this and select Next Instance. This will then show you the next occurrence of each scheduled transaction.

You should see both the old and new transactions in the future. Since you already created the new series starting on 10/1, you should be able to just delete the old series that has the old amount (which will also be dated 10/1). This will not affect the 9/1 transaction which you already marked as paid. To delete the series, double click on it, then click Delete and confirm you want to delete the series.

One option would be to mark the 9/1 payment as paid and then change the scheduled sequence.

Another option would be to have the existing scheduled transaction sequence end after 9/1 and create a new scheduled transaction starting on 10/1. The easiest way to do this is to duplicate the existing scheduled transaction and then modify each as appropriate.

Apparently, when I mark the 9/1 payment as paid, right-clicking the transaction no longer shows the option to modify the Reminder Schedule.

The way I created a new Reminder Schedule was:
1. Enter the 10/1 payment
2 Right-click on the 10/1 payment and select Schedule Selected Transaction.

By the way, I tried to create a new Reminder Schedule by following this Help Topic:

Unfortunately, I couldn't follow it because I don't see a menu in Quicken for Mac Deluxe (Version 9.2.0 (Build 902.61767.100, macOS 26.6.1) that says:

Bills & Income → Bills

Someone should update the Topic to explain how to get to 'Bills & Income'.
