When is this going to be fixed?
Hi @gobosch, Thank you for taking the time to reach out to the Quicken Community and for sharing your questions.
This issue has been escalated internally and is currently being investigated by our teams under Ticket #12501771 / CTP-16425. I checked the investigation ticket, and while there is no estimated timeframe for a resolution at this time, the issue remains a high priority.
I understand that this situation has been frustrating, particularly since you have been experiencing this issue for some time. Our teams are continuing to investigate and work toward a resolution.
In the meantime, I recommend monitoring the Community Alert for any updates as they become available.
Thank you for your continued patience and understanding while our teams work on this issue. (Ticket #12501771 / CTP-16425)
Quicken Support said this issue has been resolved on 9/16/26, so I updated to the latest version (R69.29). The error is still there! After waiting months, that is very frustrating!
Hi @gobosch ,
I understand how frustrating it is to continue running into this issue, especially after the Community Alert has been marked as resolved. I reviewed the notes for investigation Ticket #12501771 / CTP-16425, and our team indicated that the fix was deployed in release R69.
Since you’re currently on R69.29, I suggest installing the R69.29 Manual Patch to make sure there wasn’t an issue during the installation.
To do so:
After installing the patch, please try printing an invoice again. If you’re still unable to print, I suggest contacting Quicken Support so they can review the issue further based on the investigation notes.
I hope this helps. (Ticket #12501771 / CTP-16425)
Thanks, but. I followed your instructions and updated manually. Verified version R69.29. Tried to send invoice, same error, PDF driver could not be found or initialized. Please remind me, how do I go back to an earlier version of quicken to work around this error?
Nevermind. I restored version R67 and the error is gone. Hopefully the next time you say it's resolved it will really be resolved!
