I've been having trouble with this account updating for the past few days but it has resolved itself. Today however I cannot get my RJF to update. I am using Direct Connect on Mac. I get an Error Code 2000 every time. Please help!
Hi @Lazarus Long,
Thank you for sharing the details of what you’re experiencing.
According to our support article, when this error occurs, it typically includes a unique message from the financial institution explaining what action is required.
In addition to the error code, do you see a specific message from the financial institution? If so, please share the message here so we can determine the appropriate next steps.
Thank you!
I did not see anything like that. Here's what I am seeing
Thank you for providing the specific error message.
Please verify that your accounts are properly enabled for third-party access on the bank’s website. Log in to your Raymond James Client Access / Investor Access portal and check that third-party software access is authorized for the affected accounts.
Once the accounts are properly authorized, please try updating them again in Quicken.
Please let me know how it goes.
I am getting an OL-301-A error in Quicken for Windows with Raymond James. The accounts are properly authorized on the Raymond James Client Access / Investor Access portal. I have also deactivated the account. But when I try to activate it, I get the error again. Is there a known connection error with Quicken and Raymond James?
[Edited - Readability]
Raymond James does not have such a requirement or any such setting on the web site. FYI, I have been accessing my account through Quicken for several years.
I am having the same problem and the same error code.
I am also having the same problem same error code, have been accessing RJ for years, just started this morning.
Hi all,
Thank you for chiming in. I’d like to confirm a few details so we can better understand the issue:
I look forward to your replies. Thank you!
Thank you for following up on this. Just to confirm, I am using Direct Connect. The error happens when trying to update the account. I'm not trying to send an online payment, just update my holdings etc.
I appreciate your quick responses. That’s very helpful.
I also see a recent attempt to connect the account using Quicken Connect on our end. Were you able to successfully connect your accounts using that connection method?
Thank you for the confirmation, @Lazarus Long .
I’d appreciate it if the rest of you could also confirm the exact error message you’re seeing. This will help me determine the most appropriate next step.
I am receiving the 2000 error code, I was using direct connect, and I was not sending any online payment. I attempted to cancel the download and re-establish the connection and now I am unable to even setup the connection.
this is the error I am receiving when trying to sync my Raymond James account with Quicken:

Are there particular log files that support needs?
log files uploaded
I sent this morning but just sent it again. Thank you!
I am using Direct Connect, getting the 2000 error, not sending an online payment, just updating my accounts.
Just sent log files.
Receiving Error 2000 too. Since Friday.
Image sent. Report sent. Using direct connect. Thx.
Note below please:
I have been getting the same errors OL-301-A for all 4 of my Raymond James accounts.
The Connectivity Error (OFX Error: 2000) occurred when I tried to update my accounts. I do not use online payments. I disconnected my accounts, and now I am getting the same error when I try to reconnect the accounts to Quicken using the "Direct Connect" connection.
Thank you for the additional information and for submitting your log files. I’ve added the information to the open case for further review.
I’ll keep you updated as soon as more information becomes available. In the meantime, please feel free to let me know if there are any changes on your end.
I'm also getting an OL-301-A error when trying to update.
Thank you for chiming in, @Ken Marino .
To help with the investigation, could you please specify the error code you’re encountering and submit your log files using the steps provided in the post above?
I look forward to your reply.

Same issue with Raymond James - OL-301-A on 4 accounts. Running Quicken Classic Premier on Windows.
Has been occurring since Sunday morning 8/23. Last good connection was Sat 8/22 at 11:34 PM EDT.
I will submit logs per above.
Thank you, @Richard Seiler . I’ve attached the logs to the open case for further review.
Any status update regarding downloads?
There are no new updates right now. Our team is continuing to work on this issue, and I’ll share any additional information as it becomes available.
Yup, OL-301 on Windows and Error-2000 on Mac. I run Quicken on both and Raymond James is failing to connect.
I called Raymond James and they had no idea how to help me. The person I talked to got frustrated and "punted" by telling me to call Quicken Support to resolve this issue.
At this point, I am going to wait for this to resolve itself. In fact, this has happened to be before, and all I had to do was wait until enough people complained about it to the right person, and the problem was fixed for all of us.
Raymond James told me the target for the correction is tonight 8/24 after 8pm
Thank you for sharing that information, @gymsweat . I’ll pass it along to our team.
I am having the same issue. I have Quicken for Windows and when I try to update with Raymond James, I get OL-301 errors. They have acknowledged the issues, but their technology department has always been slow to resolve the issue when it happens.

I'm getting the 301 error and called Raymond James. They are aware of the connectivity issue and are working on a solution
I'm having same problem. Getting error: Connectivity Error (2000) since yesterday afternoon. I attempted several times during the course of the day without success. Attempted to disconnect and reconnect via direct connect. After applying password via direct connect I get Connectivity Error, OFX Error: 2000.
Hopefully it will be resolved this evening.
Just came back up for me
