OSU Fidelity Issue

Now seeing negative SPAXX transactions on investment and linked checking account registers. Investment side has FDRXX (Fidelity Cash Reserves) treated as cash which is a Fidelity core account. So why am I seeing SPAXX transactions in Quicken but not in Fidelity when I look on Fidelity online?

If I delete the four negative soldx transactions on the investment side of my cash accounts, the investment side is now 0 and the banking side matches Fidelity. But why do I continually have to do this?

Hi @es114,

Thank you for explaining what you’re experiencing. That’s definitely interesting, and I think a manual reset may help Quicken correctly recognize your FDRXX downloads.

Before making any changes, please save a backup of your Quicken file. Then, follow these steps:

Click the Settings gear at the top-right of the account.
Go to the Online Services tab.
Look for the Money Market/Cash options, or click Set/Edit next to your core security.
Click Reset to Default, then select Customize.
Set the Primary Money Market Fund to FDRXX and make sure the Secondary Fund is set to None.
Select Treat the Money Market Fund as Cash and don't show a position.
When prompted to choose how to calculate the cash, select Use value of FDRXX.
Click Next through the remaining prompts, then close the window.

The next time you update the account, Quicken should recognize FDRXX as the sole owner of the cash balance and stop creating the phantom SPAXX entries.
