I am Trying to set up a download for NetXInvestor. Is it a number from my broker that I need or an account code? I have been given 2 different ones. Is there any way to locate this number on my own?

I have looked through the discussions and nothing seems to say resolved.

@Dory I did a little investigation and this is what I could find -

Where to get the Financial Organization Number -

It may appear on your paper statements (sometimes the first 3 characters of the account number).
Your broker-dealer or financial advisor can provide it.
Pershing/Cetera support can provide it if you call their Online Services line .

Because different broker-dealers have different identifiers, you must obtain the one specific to your firm.
