Just got this error when I used OSU. The display also said that they were aware of the situation and were working on it.
Is anyone else having this issue at Elan?

Hi @Mike_L,
Thank you for letting us know what you’re experiencing. At this time, we’re not aware of any known issues with Elan returning the CC-601 error.
According to our support article, this error can occur when something on the bank’s end temporarily prevents Quicken from connecting. In some cases, the issue may clear on its own within 24 hours.
I checked your account and noticed that the error first appeared less than 24 hours ago, so I recommend trying again once that 24-hour period has passed. If the issue persists, please contact Quicken Support for further assistance. They can walk you through additional troubleshooting steps in real time and escalate the issue if necessary.
Please feel free to reach out if you have any other questions.
I have similar with MAC. Care Code: FDP-101
Details: CP_SCRIPT_ERROR General error. Layout has been changed. I have never seen "layout has been changed" in an error before. I tried resetting downloads with same issue.
Thank you for sharing the error and the troubleshooting steps you’ve already tried, @Bob..
I’ll keep an eye on this error to see whether we receive more reports or if the issue persists after 24 hours. If anything changes, I’ll be sure to share an update.
This issue has been reported, and our team is currently looking into it.
If you haven’t already done so, I’d appreciate it if you could submit your log files so I can attach them to the open case for further review. I know you’ve already submitted yours, @Bob , and thank you for that!
To send your logs:
Once you’ve submitted your logs, please let me know so I can make sure they’re included with the case.
Thank you!

Working in MAC this morning again at 5AM EST
Hi @Bob.,
I can see that your attempt was successful. Thank you for letting us know!
Thank you for providing the logs. Could you please try updating your accounts again and let me know if you’re still encountering the same error?
It seems to work now, but no transactions were downloaded, and a ghost transaction appeared in the register with a date of 12/28/26. Not sure where it appeared from. I did a search for 8.56 and found about 5 other transactions from the same vendor over a year. I have a number of pending transactions at Elan and will wait to see how it balances it out tomorrow when they come down. The 8.56b transaction did not appear to have downloded when i did the update today and i am pretty sure i manually entered it. I tried to find the transaction on the Elan site but they only have back to June and the previous one was dated in early May. The Elan site did not have an 8.26 transaction between early June and now. As the transactions in question in Quicken all show the same vendor, it is possible i changed the auto payee to the one identified in the 8.56
The 8.56 issue is not an issue. It is on me. After digging through receipts, I found it for an item I purchased a number of times over the past couple of years.
Elan downloaded the transaction correctly, and Quicken handled it correctly. I fat-fingered the transaction and must have changed the date.
I have only really been using it for a couple of years. Quicken has worked perfectly. All issues I have experienced, you guys have been able to get me back on track with no data loss. I have not had to make any changes to any reconciled balance in that time.
Thanks for being there
That's great news, @Mike_L!
I’m glad to hear the issue has been resolved and you’re back up and running.
Please feel free to reach out if you have additional questions.
