Ally Bank Constantly Getting CC-502 Error

I am trying to add a new account at Ally Bank. I get to the point where I get a text message for multi-factor authentication. When I click next, I get the CC-502 error.

I have been getting this error for the last 4 days in a row. I tried this at different times of the day. Nothing works.

I am able to log into the Ally Bank Website and view my account without any issues.

Any advice.

After spending lot of time with Quicken Support and Ally Support, I stumbled on this article which clearly says only Checking and Savings Accounts downloads are supported. Nothing else.

That conclusively answers my question. I am surprised Quicken Support person could not find this. Google is the best. 😀

@Zunka72 that is interesting. The link you provided is a Quicken Support article that clearly states that Ally Bank only supports downloading to Checking and Savings accounts.

"Ally Bank currently supports transaction downloads only for checking and savings accounts.
Investment and credit card accounts will not download transactions or any other data into Quicken."

Maybe they can update the connection so that when the user tries to connect, it is clear that the connection only supports Checking and Savings accounts.

The other thing Quicken should do is correct the name they have for this bank - it should be "Ally Bank" not AllyBank".

@Zunka72 I am not making excuses why they couldn't help you but the wrong bank name (FI Name) could be the reason why Quicken Support missed the support article.
