direct connect to express connect - NC State Employees Credit Union

My NC State Employees Credit Union updated their computer system. The old system used Direct Connect; now it uses Express Web Connect. They walked me through their rendition so I could download info, but not working. How do I switch a Direct Connect account to Express Direct without losing years' worth of history by creating a new account?

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

We currently have an Open Alert for this issue. From the alert:

If you use Direct Connect and want to switch to Express Web Connect/Quicken Connect to download your transactions, you can backup your Quicken file, deactivate the accounts, then click the + sign and reconnect using Express Web Connect/Quicken Connect.

To Deactivate an account

1. Select the Tools menu and select Account List....

2. In the Account List, select the account you want to deactivate, and then click Edit.

3. In the Account Details window, click the Online Services tab.

4. Click Deactivate next to the service you want to disable.

5. Click Yes to the message confirming that you want to disable this service. Note: If you do not receive this message, additional information is available below.

When changing how you connect with the financial institution, there is a chance of duplicate transactions. Check for any duplicates and delete them as appropriate. Please be aware that you will not be able to use the bank bill pay feature through Quicken if you are not connected to the payment account using Direct Connect.
