two transactions from bank not downloading

Question

Im using Quicken for Mac, version 9.2.2. My main checking account has 2 transactions that aren't downloaded into the check register. Both are posted, not pending, on the bank's website. One was from 4 or 5 days ago and the 2nd transaction was from yesterday. All the other transactions seem to download into the Quicken register okay but not these 2. Can anyone explain why and how can I prevent it in the future?

Could there possible be a problem in the re-naming feature.

Not unless you have created a Renaming Rule that makes a bad change.

I'd rather suspect that these transactions are/were mis-matched to older, similar transactions instead of the most recent ones.

If you haven't done so already, I'd say it's time to call Quicken Support on the phone during posted hours of operation and request help.  Let them do a screen share session with you to review the situation on your computer, to determine the nature of the problem and to figure out how to fix it. It might be necessary to review the download log files on your computer, to locate these transactions and attempt to find out what Quicken actually did when these transactions were first downloaded.

Carlos,  Yes all filters were cleared and also all available transactions were selected for downloads.  Could there possible be a problem in the re-naming feature.  One of these transactions if from a medical clinic.  In the bank website of transactions it contains the name of the clinic but all of my other transactions in Quicken register I have the name of the doctor but it is not downloading either way.  Just a thought ??

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Since the two transactions are posted on the bank’s website but are not appearing in Quicken, I suggest following the troubleshooting recommendations outlined in our support article about missing transactions.

* I suggest checking the account register filters and sort order. Confirm that the register is sorted by Date.
* If applicable, click Clear Filters to the right of the account register’s filter.

* Confirm that Quicken is set to download all available transactions. In the affected account, click the Settings icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen and select the Downloads tab. Under Transaction Downloads, confirm that Download all available transactions is enabled.

* Refresh the account connection. Click the Update icon in the upper-left corner of Quicken and follow any on-screen instructions to complete the account update.
* Check the register after the update. Review the affected account to see if the missing transactions have appeared. If needed, click the Date column header to ensure the transactions display in chronological order.
