Capital One Reauthorization endless loop

I've been getting Capital One errors every single time I use one-step update for the past month. I've reauthorized every time, with successful screen confirmations each time, only to find that the very next one-step update requires another reauthorization. I completely disconnected both of my capital one accounts this morning, and re-added them through the add accounts process, only to get the dreaded "capital one needs you to reauthorize transactions" message. What is the fix for this?

Hi @Luka731,

It looks like only one of your Capital One accounts is returning the error. I can see that you have three accounts connected to Capital One, but only one is linked to Capital One Card Services. That is the account you need to disconnect and reconnect.

Please follow the steps below (make sure to save a backup):

1. Deactivate the affected accounts

• Select the Tools menu and select Account List....
• At the bottom of the Account List window, select Options and make sure Show Financial Institution is checked.

• Locate the account that shows Capital One Card Services as the financial institution, then click Edit.
• In the Account Details window, click the Online Services tab.
• Click Deactivate next to the service you want to disable.

• Click Yes to the message confirming that you want to disable this service. 

2. Reactivate and relink the accounts

1. Go to Tools> Add account
2. Select the bank for the deactivated account(s). If prompted, select the connection method.
3. Enter your credentials and click Connect.
4. When the list of located accounts appears, choose LINK next to each account you want to reactivate (do not choose Add, as that would create duplicates).
5. Click Next then Done on the last prompt.

Please let me know how it goes. If the error persists after reconnecting the account, let me know what happens.
