For a while now, the net worth report I ran using Quicken Classic for Mac was showing my net worth as $125K higher than the Total amount shown in the sidebar of the main window. After examining things, I determined that there were two investment accounts causing this issue. More recently, I was doing more research to see if I could figure out what was going on and to make a long story short(er), when I added the Transfer field to the columns displayed in the transaction ledger for those accounts, I saw several transactions had the string "CORRUPT!" in the transaction field, and I also noticed that I could not modify the category, which was blank, for those transactions. Then I saw that the total amount of those corrupt transactions equaled $125K, so I did a Transaction Duplicate on each of those corrupt transactions because they did have the correct shares and cost, and deleted the corrupt transaction afterward. When I did this for all those corrupt transactions, the net worth report displayed the same amount as the Total amount shown in the sidebar.
Note: the corrupt transactions were transfers from investment accounts at a different brokerage.
