Haven't updated accounts in about 3 weeks. When I opened Quicken tonight, I installed the latest software update (Mac version). I have multiple Benjamin F. Edwards (BFE) accounts accessed through NetX Investor. All BFE accounts are now showing the entire balance of each account as cash rather than showing the security detail it used to show. Seems like the only option would be to switch to detailed investment tracking, which I would have to do manually. Doesn't seem worth paying for.

Thanks for letting us know about the issue you're experiencing. Since you mentioned that the security details were previously showing correctly and that the accounts are now showing the entire balance as cash, I’d like to confirm whether this is related to the investment tracking method or if the holdings are no longer being downloaded.

When you mentioned that switching to Detailed investment tracking would require you to do it manually, I’d like to clarify what you’re seeing:

Does Quicken indicate that Simple tracking is the only tracking method supported by Benjamin F. Edwards/NetX Investor for these accounts?
Or, when you select Detailed (Positions and Transactions) under the account settings, does Quicken prompt you to disconnect the account first?
If you deactivate the account after choosing to disconnect the account, does Quicken give you the option to sign in to Benjamin F. Edwards/NetX Investor using Detailed tracking?
Is the Detailed option grayed out?

If the issue is not simple or detailed view

If the account is set to Detailed, are any investment transactions downloading, or is Quicken only showing the cash balance?
In the account's Portfolio view, do you see any individual securities listed, or is the entire balance showing as cash?

This information will help us determine whether we're looking at Simple vs. Detailed tracking or an issue with the holdings/transaction data being downloaded.
