According to the AI, Quicken Classic for Windows allows for the automated transaction download on a schedule, which, once set up, updates all accounts with most recent transactions without human intervention. This could be scheduled for a daily download at 6:00 a.m., for example, and I would be assured that my Quicken always has all transactions, without relying on me to actually use Quicken regularly to do this.
This is a powerful and important feature. I'm astonished it doesn't exist in Classic for Mac. Please add this feature, either as a schedule task, or as a separate background service that has a plist entry and runs at startup. Please ensure that, once set up, no human intervention is required. This should be a background process, perhaps with a MacOS notification to indicate that transactions were downloaded or there was a failure, etc. But, it should not require opening the full application or otherwise have UI interaction.
I use Quicken on an irregular, infrequent schedule, mostly just for tax preparation. Many of the institutions I connect to only allow a 30 or 45 day transaction history available for download, if even that long. So, there is a serious risk that transactions will not be included. This feature would eliminate that risk, and not rely on me remembering to do anything.
Thank you for your consideration of my product improvement suggestion. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me if there is anything I can do to help facilitate this.

P.S. Neither I, nor the AI, found similar existing posts relating to this feature request. Apologies if it already exists and I missed it.
