Added another JPM Brokerage acct and transfered data

Question

Want to transfer 100% of data in JPM account to new JPM account while mainaining all the cost basis info in new JPM acct.  Quicken treats event like the new brokerage acct in JPM purchased the shares being transfered.  Result is new JPM brokerage acct has new cost basis as of date of transfer vs the historical basis which is what i want to maintain.

Very helpful.  I was on phone with Quicken support and they gave me the instructions on what to do. Will follow up and see about starting over with backup copy.

You should be using a Shares Transferred between Accounts transactions (Enter Transactions button) from the old account rather than any downloads from the financial institution.
