Quicken crashes intermittently when opening files, including a brand-new test file. I completely uninstalled/reinstalled Quicken, reset the Quicken configuration folders, and successfully installed the R69.53 manual/Mondo patch.
I created a brand-new file at C:\quickentest\LOCALTEST.QDF with Mobile/Web Sync declined. The file created and closed normally. Quicken has crashed both during normal startup and when manually opening this new local test file. It has also occasionally opened successfully, so the behavior is intermittent. Running as Administrator does not resolve it.
The problem is reproducible without using my existing financial data file, so I belive this is an application/startup crash rather than a data-file corruption issue.
Anyone else?????
