I've had the account for a few years - the last update was 9/18, and it's been failing with error OL-301-A ever since. "Additional information from Alight Solutions: " (it says nothing)
I've tried all sorts of things, resetting and deactivating online service. When I reactivate, it goes through the "Activate One Step Update," and it says it's going to prompt me to log in, and on "Sign into Alight Solutions" it just spins. The only option is Cancel - I've let it go for several minutes, and it never prompts me. Then it won't cancel; I have to kill Quicken
Windows 11, Q R69.53, 27.1.69.53
I tried adding a new account; it went through the whole thing, even asked for uid/password, looked good, but then I tried an online update on that account, and it gives the same error.
I can log in to the website with my uid/password just fine (although Quicken tells you to append the company ID to the user. I confirmed the company ID by logging into Alight.
I changed my password around 8/31, but as mentioned, it's been updating up until 9/18. I am soooo frustrated! I also can't find anyone having the same problem - I always like it better when that happens!
— update a couple of hours laterI deactivated the account in Quicken, removed the acct#, institution name, all but the account itself, did a one-step update to make sure it was "clean" - everything else passed. Then I added a new account, chose Alight, submitted the credentials, and it all worked fine; it appeared to link the account, but it had no transactions or balance. Went to do another one-step update, and again it gives the OL-301-A error. Oh! At one point, I tried a bad user ID, and it gave an error, so I know it's not an ID/pwd problem, or it'd be giving me that sort of error.Help please! :-)
