Cannot Add AAA Signature Visa card by Comenity.

I have followed all the ideas from the Quicken bot and the human support but cannot add my AAA Visa account. It will not take my login credentials, even though they work on the website. I had a previous AAA Visa account that worked but I deleted access because the card number changed. I am at a loss for things to try. Anyone else had this issue?

Thank you for reporting the CC-503 Error you are receiving.

We do have a Support Article with steps to resolve this error. From the article:

Step One: Verify your bank login information

Type your password/PIN into a text application, such as Notepad, WordPad, or another text/word application.
- Note: This is a way of confirming you don't have typographical errors in this field.
Highlight the "confirmed" password and then copy it (Ctrl + C) and paste it (Ctrl + V) into the appropriate fields in Quicken.

Sounds like you have already done step 2, so you can skip that and move on to step 3:

Step Three: Update your password(s) in Quicken

Launch Quicken and go to Tools > Password Vault > Add/Edit Passwords.
Click on the account in the Password Vault.
Choose Delete Password for the account.
Complete a One Step Update; you will be prompted to enter the password manually.
Type in the password (the same one used on the bank's website) and check the box marked Save next to the password field.
Click Update Now.

If there is no option to delete and update the password, or if the login ID/username also needs to be changed:

Choose Tools > Account List.
Click the Edit button next to the account you want to change the login ID for.
In the Account Details window, click the Online Services tab.
Click Reset Account.
Enter the correct login ID and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the reset.
If prompted, carefully LINK the accounts found to the existing accounts in Quicken.

After the reset process is complete, attempt your online session again.

@George-Eagle which Financial Institution are you using to connect? Is it the auto club or the credit union? Also, be sure to blank out the FI Name and Account Number on the General tab before you try to reactivate. Go to Tools→Add account to reactivate the account. Make sure to carefully link to the existing account on Quicken.

It is comenity bank credit card. It is a new card and not the existing card. I have deleted the old card account.

@George-Eagle then you can set up the new credit card account as a new account on Quicken. What exactly are the error messages you are getting? Are there any error codes?

@George-Eagle sometimes also, it might take a while to get a new CC account set up on the financial institution's data feed. If that is the case, when you try to access the account too early it will not recognize your credentials which results in a CC-503 error.

The other thing I wanted to add is to verify that there is no duplicate transaction in the old, closed account and the new one. When you set up a new account as you have, the transaction download might include older historical transactions from the old CC account.
