QMac Payees can have a mailing address associated with them… which is used by Quicken if Quicken itself is mailing a check on your behalf. But, the File > Print Checks… function ignores this mailing address.
Whether the check format is set to Standard, Voucher or Wallet, the payee address is never displayed, making printed checks unusable for mailing.
I want to migrate a business to QMac (with its own file separate from my personal data) - but this is a show stopper for me as I use the print check function in a different (accounting) program to generate PDF 'pay stubs' to email to employees.
EDIT/UPDATE: Based on John's comment below… the Check Details window for a check marked as PRINT has a "Print Check" tab… with a "Use Bill Pay Address"… which fills the address into the check. So… this wish is for that to be the standard behavior (fill in the address) rather than having to open the details and click that button for every single check. And yet… even with the address filled in on the Print Check tab of Check Details… printing the check NEVER actually includes the address in the print / PDF Preview / etc. So that seems like a bug vs a feature request?
