Unable to uninstall Old versions

Question

The previous version of Quicken (2021,2022,2023 and 2024) needs to be uninstalled during the upgrade to version 27.

On Physical machines, the msi custom action removes the application files before the printer is uninstalled and the print spooler is restarted by the custom action.

This causes the current version installation to fail with 1603 (asking for the setup.exe)

@UKR , @Sceptic , We are facing this issue during the upgrade of Previous version ( 2021, 2022) to latest version 2024 & 2027 only in physical machines where printer is connected externally . One of the custom actions which is getting triggered during the time of uninstallation of previous version like removing files which is required to uninstall the printer . We have tried changing the sequence and also disabling the custom action still no luck . So we thought of repairing versions 2021 & 2022 where its asking for setup.exe. Please help

Since 2018 for the US version, 2017 for the Canadian version, there has not been an annual software release for Quicken for Windows. Software updates have been sent out approximately every month, each of them building on the already installed software.

Therefore, there are no annual versions which you can install or uninstall separately. Uninstalling Quicken from the Control Panel or as part of the reinstallation of a fresh software download will always uninstall all prior installed Quicken versions.
