How To Link HELOC To Property

Question

I have a HELOC loan which I want to link to a property.  Based upon internet posts, I thought I could to this once I upgraded from Classic Premier to Classic Personal & Business, but I still see no way to do this.  I have to set the account up manually as a credit card as the bank does not appear as an option.  I can change it to a liability (just like I could in Classic Premier), but I see no way to link it to the property.

@ericckoch I can certainly understand your frustration. If Premier better fits your needs, downgrading may be the right choice for now.

Since Quicken does not officially monitor every community discussion, I would encourage you to submit your feedback directly to Quicken through the "Office of the President" or other official feedback channels. Feedback submitted there has a better chance of reaching the teams responsible for product direction and feature enhancements.

Hopefully Quicken will continue to improve areas such as retirement account management and address the concerns you've raised.

Thank you Sceptic.  I will downgrade back to Quicken Classic Premier.  Quicken really needs to start taking account of the realities of personal finance as they exist today.  They are collecting annual subscription fees which should provide them the revenues to keep their programs up to date.  I won't even start with a discussion as to how poor their IRA features are.  Hopefully, someone from Quicken sees this.  I am definitely in the market for a better PC based program.
