Huntington Bank checking account not updating via One-Step Update

The problem started yesterday. The update starts, progresses to MFA for the account, I get the code via text, I enter it in Quicken, and then the update fails. Same problem today. So I deactivated one-step update for the account and attempted to reactivate it. I got through the activation, but the account still failed to update. Huntington seems to have a new login scheme on their website this week, but my login and password are unchanged and still function on the Huntington website.

Any others with this problem?

On the Huntington web login it states "Welcome to our new login experience! Enjoy easier, more intuitive access to your accounts."

So maybe this has something to do with it? I did look at my profile and "allow financial tools access" is still on.

I also checked the "allow financial tools access" and it is on. The problem remains.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and sharing what you are experiencing.

Based on your description and the information @ts063068 shared, it seems changes at Huntington Bank may be contributing to the issue.

After reviewing my internal tools, I found that the FDP-106 error in Quicken's system can appear as CC-506 in the product. I suggest following the steps outlined in our support article for this error.

Update Quicken to the latest release

Choose Tools > One Step Update.
Deselect all items, then click Update Now.
If an update is available, follow the on-screen prompts to install the latest release.
Try updating your accounts again. If the issue persists, continue with the next steps.

Refresh your account information

Open the affected account register.
Select the Actions gear icon at the top of the register (or press Ctrl + Shift + N).
Select Update Now.

Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update.

If the issue persists, proceed with the following steps.

Deactivate and reconnect all Huntington Bank accounts

Open the Account List by selecting Tools > Account List or pressing Ctrl + A.
If available, check Show Hidden Accounts at the bottom of the Account List.
For each account associated with Huntington Bank, click Edit and select Deactivate (or Remove From One Step Update) on the Online Services tab.
Once all applicable accounts have been deactivated, close the Account List.
Close and reopen Quicken.
Click Add Account (+) at the top of the Account Bar.
Search for Huntington Bank and follow the prompts to sign in and complete any security verification steps.
When Quicken displays the accounts it found, carefully select Link next to each account and match it to the corresponding account already set up in Quicken.

Deactivate closed accounts from future online updates

If you have any closed accounts that are still enabled for online services, you can deactivate them to prevent further online updates:

Select Tools > Account List.
Click Edit next to the account you want to deactivate.
Open the Online Services tab.
Click Deactivate.

I too am not able to update, receiving error message CC-506. Huntington states they have heard from other customers and indicated this is a Quicken problem. Spoke with a Quicken representative today and hope they can resolve this matter soon.
