Hi,
So my Fidelity accounts have been having issues lately. Not sure if this is Fidelity only, or if it is a Quicken issue that just happens to be showing up because Fidelity is my brokerage. Regardless, below are two examples. They are the ones I'm certain have happened and are problematic. Once they are fixed, I can verify others.
Example #1:
I have a Fidelity CMA Account and keep the cash portion in a separated checking account. I buy a short term fund consistently (FDLXX). Interest also gets funnel through the CMA account in the form of IntIncX. But recently, downloaded transactions are coming up as IntInc. It isn't supposed to do that. You're not supposed to be able to have cash in that separate account. It needs to have the X. And if it doesn't, we should be throwing an exception.
Example #2:
After syncing, Fidelity has been re-finding securities that are already in my security list. I click the option that says I already have it, and match to it, but it still creates a duplicate. And this is a real headache in certain situations (For example, I have three of the same security now: the original, one from fidelity, and then the one created for my ESPP. If I want to get rid of that third one, I have to literally delete and r-enter all the ESPP transactions I've ever entered. What a pain).
