I'd like the new "Flexible Money Market Tracking" to be expanded further to allow Quicken users to specify any security to be treated as cash for a given account.
Background
My JPMorgan accounts have these transactions that show up with Security/Payee `400AK7007` and `2021181` - they both show up as securities. This is what they are in Quicken and in JPMorgan:
- 400AK7007
- Quicken Security type: Mutual Fund
- Quicken Security Asset Class: Asset Mixture. (100% unclassified)
- JPMorgan type: "Cash & Sweep Funds" (400AK7007 JPMORGAN DEPOSIT ACCT C ADVISORY RET JPMC BK NA)
- 100AB5004
- Quicken Security type: Mutual Fund
- Quicken Security Asset Class: Money Market
- JPMorgan type: "Cash & Sweep Funds" (100AB5004 JPMORGAN DEPOSIT ACCT A ADVISORY NON RET JPMC BK NA)
I don't want to see the securities. I want these to just show up as cash in my Quicken, because that's how it actually appears in JPMorgan statements and website. (No idea why JPMorgan has them show to Quicken as securities)
I have some additional info and context in https://www.reddit.com/r/quicken/comments/1vrf31f/qmac_flexible_money_market_tracking_for/
