6 brokerage accounts but only 1 agrees, how to fix?

I have half a dozen brokerage accounts that synch to Quicken. One of them regularly give me a message that "Your Quicken account and your Brokerage Holdings are in agreement."

I know the number of shares in each account appears to match the brokerage account, hiow can I find out what does not match and how to fix it?

PS: I have been using Quicken more than a dozen years and like it.

@800FRobHall It's not entirely clear from your post whether only one account agrees and the other five do not, or whether you're seeing the message for just one account.

When Quicken reports that the holdings do not agree, does it identify a specific security or share difference, or is it simply displaying a general warning?

If the issue is a holdings mismatch, I'd start by running Reconcile Shares in each affected account and see if Quicken identifies any differences. If the share balances already match what you see at the brokerage, then the problem may be related to a historical transaction, a placeholder entry, an incorrectly dated transaction, or a stock split that was not recorded correctly.

Are all six brokerage accounts held at the same financial institution, or are they spread across multiple brokerages? Also, do you see any Placeholder transactions in the affected accounts?

The more detail you can provide about the message you're seeing and which accounts are affected, the easier it will be to pinpoint what Quicken thinks is out of balance.
