windows desktop only a Mac laptop How do I pay my bills on Quicken.com and keep a running total of my money without updating my desktop?
For reference, this is a repeat of OP's original question I will live in a different state for several months this year and will not have access to my desktop - Quicken

The best solution may depend on whether you need occasional access to your financial information or plan to actively manage your Quicken file for several months.
Pay bills and view balances. but not current balances, balances including the bills scheduled to be paid. Like when you update.
good ideas thank you. I do have windows on my mac for word, excel, etc. what is parallels?
@Lacarberry for how you want to use Quicken while you're away for several months, I think @UKR 's option 2 is a very good idea. If maintaining the same projected balances and scheduled reminder functionality is important, running Quicken Windows in Parallels on the Mac may be the easiest solution. It lets you continue using the Windows version of Quicken rather than converting your data to Quicken Mac and adapting to a different application.
