"edit this instance and all future instances" Leads to quicken for windows not responding

when i try to edit a transaction to apply to this instance and all future instances, a spinning wheel appears and quicken ceases to respond. I have to kill the app in task manager. Is this a known bug? I go to the Bills/Bills/Action/Edit this instance and all future instances (second photo), click that and quicken freezes (First photo).

@Michael Sahlstrom since the issue occurs when editing a reminder, my first thought would be possible data file corruption. I'd recommend running File → Validate and Repair File, selecting Validate File, and reviewing the DATA_LOG afterward for any errors or repairs that are reported.

If the validation completes without resolving the issue, does Quicken freeze when editing all reminders or only one specific reminder? If it's limited to a particular reminder, try deleting and recreating that reminder to see if the behavior changes.
