Marcus account institution detail somhow has changed to TJX.

Q Premier Classic Premier R 69.53

My Marcus account has somehow begun to show TJX as the financial institution in the account details. I've deactivated downloads and tried adding the account anew, but the institution won't change, and the account will no longer download. How can I correct this?

Hi @mjxm,

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. That is certainly unusual, and I’d be happy to help you troubleshoot this.

Could you please share the web address you use to access your account online? Also, have you tried deactivating the affected account(s), removing the financial institution information, and then reconnecting them?

If you haven’t tried this yet, please back up your Quicken file first, then follow these steps.

Select the Tools menu and select Account List....
In the Account List, select the account you want to deactivate, and then click Edit.
In the Account Details window, click the Online Services tab.
Click Deactivate next to the service you want to disable.
Click Yes to the message confirming that you want to disable this service.
Go to the General tab and remove the Financial Institution.
Repeat these steps for each affected account.
Log in to your bank’s website and revoke Quicken’s third-party access (if applicable).

Reactivate accounts

Go to Tools> Add account
Select the bank for the deactivated account(s). If prompted, select the connection method.
Enter your credentials and click Connect.
When the list of located accounts appears, choose LINK next to each account you want to reactivate (do not choose Add, as that would create duplicates).
Click Next then Done on the last prompt.

Please let me know how it goes. I look forward to your update.

I don't have any problems logging on to the Marcus website.

I've deactivated downloads on the Quicken site , but there is no way to delete "TJX" from financial institution slot.

When I try to add the Marcus account, I'm redirected to a Quicken Plaid page where the entered email and password don't produce any results.

By the way, my TJX account is no longer downloading either—it constantly asks me to change my password which I've done numerous times to no effect.

Hi @mjxm,

Thank you for following up! I reviewed your support ticket and found the issue associated with your case. There is currently an ongoing issue affecting Marcus and its new connection method. The connection is failing, which may explain why the financial institution information isn’t updating as expected.

We’ll share updates in the community alert as soon as we have more information. I recommend bookmarking the alert so you can easily follow any new developments.
