Schwab Government Money SWGXX can't be treated as cash

If you edit a Schwab account that uses SWGXX as cash, the Online Services' tab Set/edit, only lists using None. Therefore, every download for Bought and Sold has to be deleted or the Cash Balance will be incorrect. (Another problem is that downloaded Dividend transactions are always zero.)

This has been a problem for years. The most recent discussion, Can't treat SWGXX as cash in Schwab brokerage account - Quicken, has a comment by Quicken Alyssa, dated 7/16/26 that says, " It looks like this will reach a resolution point soon, though I cannot say for certain, or provide an ETA." The discussion is now closed in spite of my request to keep it open until resolved.

Here is another post where the conclusion was that perhaps it is better to not treat certain funds as cash when the FI does not treat them as cash either - and Schwab's approach falls into that treatment. (select "All Replies" in the post)

This is what the Balance Details at Schwab show. Aren't they clearly treating SWGXX as cash? Below it, Online Services only allows "None" as a selection for the fund. I am using Quicken Business & Personal R69.53 Build 27.1.69.53.
