Allow users to choose the first day of the week in Quicken Classic for Windows

Please add a calendar preference to choose the first day of the week, including Sunday or Monday. This would let users match Quicken’s calendar to their other calendars and personal planning preferences.

I was intrigued by this product enhancement request, so I did some research -

There is no single worldwide convention for the first day of the week. Some users prefer Sunday while others prefer Monday based on regional standards, work requirements, or personal preference. Allowing users to select either Sunday or Monday as the first day of the week would improve usability and align Quicken's calendar display with other calendars and scheduling tools they use.

Many U.S. users expect Sunday to be first because that is how most U.S. calendars are displayed.
Many international users expect Monday to be first because that follows the ISO 8601 standard and is the convention used in much of Europe and elsewhere.
Many software products allow the user to choose their preferred week start day to match regional settings and personal preferences.

Might come in handy if you have to file a travel expense report with your company and their Saturday is at the beginning of the reporting period. A trip duration from Monday thru Sunday therefore would require filing two expense reports.

So, yes, making the start of the week adjustable as needed has my vote.
