Quicken has zeroed out the cost basis for many of my holdings. Some are individual equities, and others are mutual funds. All are held in Vanguard. How do I fix this problem?

@rsommer my first question would be where in Quicken you're seeing the zeroed-out cost basis. Is this in the Holdings view, Portfolio view, Security Detail View, an investing report, or somewhere else?
A screenshot of what you're seeing would be very helpful, as it may indicate whether the cost basis data is actually missing or whether a particular Quicken view is simply displaying zero values.
Also, did this happen suddenly, perhaps after a download, update, or other recent change? And when you review the investment register for the affected securities, are the original Buy/Add Shares transactions still present?
The answers to those questions will help determine whether this is a display issue, a problem with lot assignments, or a potential data integrity issue within the file.
