Fidelity Account not showing in Link List

Question

I have a fidelity cma account, authorized thru the add process that will not show in the list of accounts to add or link to quicken.  I have deauthorized all accounts in fidelity, manually added the account in quicken and then tried to link and nothing gets the account to list in the dialog.  I have also tried the "Show Cash in Checking Account" option.

@jim.bilsky the other thing to check is that the account isn't hidden or already linked to another account.  Open the Account List and enable show hidden accounts.  Check if another account is still linked with Fidelity.

Otherwise, if you create a Quicken Copy of the data file, it will deactivate links with all accounts in the copied file.  You can then cleanly reconnect your accounts.

* Make a backup of your data file.
* Select File → Copy or Backup File.
* Choose Create a copy or template and click Next.
* Accept the default options and save the copied file.
* Open the copied file when prompted.
* Attempt the account connection process again and see if the missing account appears in the Link to Existing Account list.
* If so, use the copied data file as your new ongoing data file.

Note:  You will need to reactivate online services for all accounts in the new data file.

@jim.bilsky make sure that the manually added account has the same account type as the account that you want to link to.
