Are utility providers no longer available in Quicken?
@thorn5 Quicken does not provide a comprehensive public list of utility companies or other billers that support Quick Pay. The available billers are determined by Quicken's biller network and are discovered through the Add Online Biller search process in Bills & Income. If a utility company appears in the search results and can be linked using the credentials you use on that company's website, it is generally supported for Quick Pay.
If your utility company is not available as a Quick Pay biller, you may still be able to pay it using Check Pay, which can send a paper check to a payee with a valid U.S. mailing address.
If you post the name of the specific utility company, other users may be able to share whether they have successfully added it as an Online Biller.
Not interested in "Quick Pay" . My question is about "Bill Presentment", which I used for many years, but is no longer available for my utility company providers.
@thorn5 thanks for clarifying. I was thinking in terms of Quick Pay/Check Pay payees, but if you're asking about Bill Presentment (Online Bills), that's a different feature. I don't believe Quicken maintains a public list of utility companies that support bill presentment. If you let us know which utility company you're interested in, other users may be able to check their setups and report whether they're receiving bill information from that provider through Quicken.
Hello @thorn5,
Thank you for coming to the community with your question. I am happy to assist!
@Sceptic is correct. Unfortunately, we do not have a comprehensive list of companies that support bill presentment.
In August 2025, Quicken partnered with a new bill provider. For more information about this change and instructions on reconnecting your bills, please refer to the Improved eBills support article.
If you can’t find your biller, double-check the spelling and try different versions of the biller’s name. If your biller still isn’t available, it likely isn’t supported by the new provider yet. You can still track it by setting up a manual bill reminder or a scheduled transaction. Manual bills are based on estimates and, while they won’t automatically update with the exact amount, they are a reliable way to stay on top of your bills and forecast your cash flow.
I hope this helps.
Hello James,
Please confirm that the following billers, which were supported prior to August, 2025 are NOT supported by your new provider at this time:
CenterPointe Energy
Pedernales Electric Coop (PEC)
City of San Marcos Utilities
Once again, I am only looking for bill presentment for these providers, not bill pay.
Hi @thorn5,
Thanks for providing the billers you are looking for! I am happy to assist.
After reviewing the list of billers you provided, I found that they are not currently supported by our bill provider.
Our provider continues to add new billers, so these may become available in the future. However, they are not currently supported.
You can still track them by setting up a manual bill reminder or a scheduled transaction. Manual bills are based on estimates and, while they won’t automatically update with the exact amount, they are a reliable way to stay on top of your bills and forecast your cash flow.
